10 Gorgeous Tablescapes for Fall
While much of the world has moved onto Christmas, (Yes–I’m talking to YOU, Instagram!), I’m still here enjoying all things fall. One of my favorite rooms to see is the Dining Room. Seasonally, the dining room can be the one room in your home where you can decorate, and just sit back and enjoy it. I’m sharing my favorite Tablescapes for Fall from some of the best creators on Instagram.
Beautiful Neutrals
Lindsay of @homesweetspaces created this stunning tablescape using neutrals elements, layered for detail, laced with seasonal greenery. Absolutely gorgeous.
Gorgeous Glamour
No one makes a holiday theme more glamorous than Maricela of @maricelalopezdesign. Centerpieces, place settings, napkin folding…this gal does every aspect with grace and talent. And, while this turkey-inspired dining inspo is gorgeous, she will probably feature multiple tablescapes for fall on her IG, so don’t miss out on her continually evolving spaces.
Outdoor Dining
There’s something so romantic and beautiful about dining outdoors. Maybe it’s the fact that I can’t plan something like this in the fall–although this year has been unseasonably warm. But, in Texas, this can be the reality. Jennifer of @jdubbydesign flawlessly created the perfect space for guests, right down to the layered table setting.
Speaking of dining outdoors, add a fire to the equation, and even the chilliest evening is suddenly a fairy tale. Shae of @sweet_southern_grace styled this outdoor area, dialing up the cozy factor. The smoking fire, a tossed blanket, lights hanging…I’ll take whatever mule she’s got brewed up in those mugs!
Dynamic Details
The best seasonal decor often involves elements that you can switch out, depending on the celebration. No one does this better than Ellen of @ellenblisshome. Her use of textures and accent pieces creates a whole new scene each time she sets the table. The colors evoke autumn vibes–cozy and modern. It’s the perfect balance.
Evening Charm
With summer just a memory, autumn brings forth those feelings of intimate dining and soft conversation. Created by Lorie of @coffee.wine.and.design, we’re introduced to ideal elements when styling tablescapes for fall. Using simple wheat stems, the centerpiece stands out among other fall-inspired accents. The most important aspect for setting this scene? It’s the candles. Something about dining by candlelight imbibes coziness and charm. It’ll be an evening to remember.
Colors of the Season
Fall certainly has a range of colors. That means…the sky’s the limit. We love the rich yellow and burnt orange so often seen this time of year. But, if you want to personalize the space with your favorite muted shade, this is the time of year to do it. Jess of @shiplapshanty does just that in her modern farmhouse dining room. The mauve checked napkins + that simple centerpiece both tie in nicely with other design elements in the space. Each and every holiday, Jess is giving us tons of inspo, from dining spaces to the front entry–and more!
If you visit Kathryn of @kathrynpackard, you’ll learn one thing very quickly. Pink is the color. She brings soft pinks into just about every aspect of her home. From one scene to the next, you’ll swear you’ve never seen it look so good.
A Touch of Gold
Golden design elements are a part of daily life. When it comes to your fall tablescape, you can add a touch of glamour with gold. It’s subtle, yet sophisticated. I love the balance of gold + rustic created by Lisa of @rustic.lc.adventures in this scene.
And if you LOVE gold, you simply have to see what my friend Peggy of @onepearcourt does in her home. She’s got gold, people. But, as much as she uses it, it’s never too much. She has the super power of styling glam decor without overwhelming the look.
