Week 2: The Bathroom Demo

I’m going to be honest…I was a little nervous to do the basement bathroom for the One Room Challenge. I’ve done this a number of times, and there are deadlines, necessary content and a finish line we have to cross. My husband assured me that it would get done “because it HAS to get done.” Apparently, we have a revolving door of summer guests coming to stay, and he’s determined to keep moving forward on this project. So, I agreed.

Reluctantly.

Where Are We Now?

Welp. We are two and a half weeks in, and the demo is done. The funny thing about this is that we didn’t do it. Nope. We discovered a great guy that we had hired when we did our kitchen last year. He took care of the bathroom demo.

Soooo…What’s Next?

Now, we wait. All of the supplies and bathroom fixtures we’ve purchased are ready for pickup/being shipped/getting delivered. Annnnnd, we still don’t have a plan with our plumber. The good news is that once our plumber is available, he will work his tail off and be done in a day. Ok…maybe not that fast, but it will be pretty magical.
