The One Room Challenge has been in full swing for 8 weeks, and it’s time to show off the final version of the Artistic Bedroom Makeover I completed for Broderick.
For week 7, of the One Room Challenge, I focused on adding a slat wall feature to the corner of the room.
This project took ONE day to strip, clean, sand, stain and poly. I started early, and for once in my DIY life…nothing went wrong!
Another week update is here for the One Room Challenge! I’m bringing you all the details from my Ombré Wall turned Stormy Skies Wall.
ORC Week 2: Painting Doors, planning wooden slat walls and the ombré wall feature fail.

The Spring One Room Challenge is just beginning, and I’m taking this opportunity to do an Artist Inspired Bedroom Makeover for my seven year old.
One of my favorites from the ORC, this Golden Snitch Lamp was a simple & rewarding DIY.
One of my favorite ornaments to hang? The photo cubes! I’ve got an easy DIY for you–and they make great gifts!
