It’s Week 5 of the One Room Challenge, and I’ve been completely involved in actually building the Chevron Fireplace Wall.
I’m hoping that by tackling the plans for the Fireplace Wall Build that I can get much farther ahead than I am right now.

The timing couldn’t be better to start the next One Room Challenge. This fall, I’m creating a cozy basement design in our already-finished-but-pretty-bland basement.

The One Room Challenge has been in full swing for 8 weeks, and it’s time to show off the final version of the Artistic Bedroom Makeover I completed for Broderick.
For week 7, of the One Room Challenge, I focused on adding a slat wall feature to the corner of the room.
This project took ONE day to strip, clean, sand, stain and poly. I started early, and for once in my DIY life…nothing went wrong!
