Full Bathroom Reveal: One Room Challenge

I’m racing across the finish line of this Spring’s One Room Challenge with my full bathroom reveal. Phew. This was stressful! I’m adding the photos that I have so far, and when I have daylight, I’ll snap some more.

The Before

A true “90s” bathroom, this gem had its time, and now it was time for a change.

The Full Bathroom Reveal

Technically, it was the start of the 8 week reveals last week at this time. And, luckily, we were awarded an extra week to post. So, in the past week and a half since I posted on here last, we have had an incredible amount of progress.

• The walls were patched, sanded and primed.
• The tile was grouted.
• The shower doors were installed.
• The walls were painted.
• The walls were stenciled.
• The doors were painted.
• New door handles were added.
• The trim was cut, painted and installed.
• The vanity was brought upstairs and placed.
• Hardware was installed on the vanity.
• The vanity light fixture was installed.
• The mirror was hung.
• The towel bar was installed.
• All of the plumbing is in place. (We are waiting for our plumber to come back to fix anything broken before finishing the installation.)

Our Speakman Collection

We had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with Speakman to feature their Lura Collection, plus one of their one-piece toilets. I will be showing the details of these incredible products in the near future. The matte black finish is the perfect complement to the details of this bathroom.

What’s Next?

Here is my to-do list to finish up this space…

• Finish the baseboard–we only got it half done.
• Finish the door trim. I have this modern edge piece I add, but we just ran out of time and materials.
• Install the toilet paper holder.
• Find the right bath towel hang bars/hooks for the kids.
• Install the backsplash for the vanity.
• Put closet shelving into the awkward-shaped closet. (I didn’t share this at all because I knew I wouldn’t get to it.)
